Collective Office launches a new web interface to better communicate to the world. We strive to make our approach simple and keep our work relevant. We take this approach to all projects, we view our office as an active project and our website as our public storefront to the world. We hope you enjoy this experience as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

Collective Office turned 10 in March of 2019. We are happy to be creating the work we do, with the great clients we have, along with the best consultants and contractors in our industry. Thank-you to all who have been part of our journey!

The Timber Lane Residence was designed as a modern minimilist iteration to the popular southwest Michigan cottage. We've designed an efficient 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house, with the focus on how a young family would use the residence on this corner lot. The material choices are common to residential vernacular in the area, used in a thoughtful way to distinguish this home in the neighborhood.

Collective Office continues to study the possibilities of timber frame in high rise design for the South Loop Masterplan project. The South Loop Masterplan project proposes large scale infill development from a strategic progamming perspective for the vacant sites that still exist in the South Loop. We have the position that these sites should be thought of together, and not as individuals, in order to add the best mix possible of residential, commerical and hospitality to the existing area. This neighborhood is very unique with all the large available parcels of land.

Collective Office project Honor HQ wins second award. Last year we were honored to receive the 2017 Brick in Architecture for Commercial Buildings. This year we are pleased to announce winning the 2018 PCI Design Award for Best Office Building!

Curbed author Mary Jo Bowling sat down with Jeff Klymson and the client for our West Loop Loft project to learn the details of how to complete a quick design and execution of a loft renovation in Chicago. Thanks to all that contributed their time and effort on this amazing project!
