Our client, Entertaining Company, came to us with hopes to move and expand their business into a large industrial warehouse building situated near the west town neighborhood of Chicago. We knew that providing all the programmatic elements they will need to successfully take the business to the next chapter would take an elegant and strategic solution.
Our proposal creates thoughtful, refined insertions within the existing warehouse shell. It uses the exposed brick, wood ceiling joists, and steel trusses as a counter point to the new insertions of modernity, developing a dynamic harmony between them.
