Conceptualized as a modern longhouse, this modern retreat compound offers a place for rest and relaxation in the Ontario countryside. The building was designed to be occupied by two families, each with their own private residential wing. A shared living space forms the heart of the home and there is ample exterior space for entertaining and enjoying the natural surrounding. Realized as a long low structure, the building sits quietly under its deep eaves, well protected from the harsh winters.
